The poplar tree partition behind our house is filling in beautifully. And I must fill in as well.

I said, in my “New Beginning” post on Monday, that I intend to make a plan, to declare my plan, and then work to carry it out.

New Beginning – Writing – Again

Hi there! I’m back.

There’s a row of Poplar trees behind our house. In winter, the branches are bare, and I can see through the trees to the scrub beyond.

Today it’s spring, and the Poplars’ foliage is filling in – once again.

As leafy life returns to the trees outside my window, I am returning to my blogging.

TreePad – Hyperlinking for Projects

TreePad (www.treepad.com) is the most powerful and flexible solution I’ve found for keeping text notes on my computer. (You know, I did say that before.)

In this post, I’m going to explain an idea that just appeared – all sparkley, like Captain Kirk, out of nowhere. It emerged from my efforts to set up projects so that they were quick and easy to use. It took some time and focus to set up initially. But I think it will serve me well over time.

In my last TreePad post, I expressed concern about the length of the article – and I expressed concern about the series of TreePad posts going on indefinitely. It would appear that I’ve decided that four TreePad posts is not yet “indefinitely.”

TreePad – Hyperlinking and Peculiarities

TreePad (www.treepad.com) is the most powerful and flexible solution I’ve found for keeping text notes on my computer. You know, I think I may have said that already.

In this post, I’m going to explain something about TreePad’s hyperlink capability. Once again, I will explain how I use the feature, so that how I use it is clearly understandable, and you can use my ideas as presented. Or you can adapt them to your needs or your vision.

I’m also going to explain a few peculiarities of TreePad and how I work around them.

TreePad – My simple way of using it

TreePad (www.treepad.com) is the most powerful and flexible solution I’ve found for keeping text notes on my computer, and I’ve been doing this for twenty some years now – since my TRS-80 Mod 3 in the early ’80s. (See my earlier post: TreePad – for every kind of note.)

I’d like to explain that my way of using TreePad is quite simple. I’m trying to distinguish my simple, structured use of TreePad’s capabilities from the full range of TreePad’s presentation capabilities.
